A lot of what is written about the Law of Attraction discusses how to create your reality by the way you think. Very little talks about what we should do about it. While the thinking part is hugely important, it doesn’t get the full job done. Without inspired action, the best thinking in the world is nothing but fantasy.

Fantasy won’t create the life you wish to live.

The best advice I can give with regard to inspired action is to follow your hunches, instincts and intuition. When you don’t know what to do, find something that would make you even a little bit happier than were you to not do it. In other words, find something that takes you from whatever state you’re currently in toward a state in which you’d be even marginally happier. That’s inspiration.

Law of Attraction is also often confused with getting things easily. That’s really not the case, either. The opportunities can come easily through right-mindedness, but it’s up to us to act on those opportunities in ways that will bring our goals and dreams to fruition. That can entail a lot of hard work. The trick to it being “easy” in this case is that even hard work is enjoyable when it’s something you want to do.

So, cut to the chase and figure out where you want to go. Take stock of your situation and see what baby steps you can take toward your goal. Avail yourself to the assistance of the universe to illuminate your path so you can always see where you’re going. As you see new opportunities appearing in view, act on them. That’s the true nature of the Law of Attraction.

Often you’ll find that working hard at something you can do in the moment to, say, generate some necessary income, even if it’s something you’re not wild about doing, will open up other opportunities that you would rather do. So, instead of being frustrated by doing something that doesn’t really appeal to you, look at it as a stepping stone to getting where you want to be.

The more you practice this, the more results you’ll see. And the results will be spectacular!

  1. I like what you wrote & concur. — but ‘splain to me the “42.”
    Thanks.

    • Hi, Alice. The 42 is a reference to Douglas Adams’ book “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” in which Earth was a computer designed to compute, “What is the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything?” The answer was 42. 😉
