Just a quick note to let everybody know that the hard disk on my MacBook failed on Friday. In the course of recovering from backups, some files got corrupted. Among those was the profile for my mail program. My first startup after recovery downloaded all the pending mail from Friday to late Saturday afternoon, only to have the application crash and hopelessly corrupt the inboxes of all my accounts.
I’ve been able to restore a clean profile, but all those new messages were lost. If you sent me mail in recent days that you think I may have missed, please resend it to me and I’ll reply to you as quickly as possible.
