Intentionally Beautiful

CIMG6758.jpgA lot of what gets written about in the blog here involve teaching how to correct issues, right living, right though or otherwise cutting to the chase of a particular matter. These are all important, of course, but there is more to life than addressing problems. At least, there should be.

An elemental aspect of “living intentionally” is that we take time out from working through issues or constantly tending to one’s needs and simply “Be”. I think that stopping to smell the metaphorical flowers is as important a gift to one’s healing journey as effectively dealing with an illness or emotional issue. And, as such, today’s offering amounts to smelling the flowers.

Eric Whitacre put together a virtual choir to bring to a TED Talk a performance of “Cloudburst”, which is based on a poem by Octavio Paz. I hope you like it; it brought me to tears. And that, my friends, is a lovely way to start the day.
